DeWalt Brushless Tool Box – 30-Piece Professional Set

DeWalt’s power-tool combo kits (the ones with brushless tools) typically range from 3 to 9 tools, but I did not find any genuine 30-tool “brushless power tool” kit on DeWalt’s official list.

Their combo kits page doesn’t show any listing for a “30-tool” set. 

30-Piece Set Existed, But Not All Tools

There is a DeWalt 20V MAX 30-piece bit set: DCD771C2W30SET includes a drill/driver, two 1.3 Ah batteries, a charger, a bag, plus a 30-piece bit set.

What it is: Not 30 power tools, but 30 accessories / bits.

Brushless?: The DCD771 in that set is not the high-end “XR” brushless — this is a more basic 20V Max drill/driver.

There is also a 30-piece mechanics (hand-tool) set by DeWalt: the TOUGHSERIES Tough Box, 3/8 in. drive, 30 pc. That’s a set of ratchets, sockets, wrenches, etc.

This is hand-tools, not cordless power tools, and doesn’t involve brushless motors.

Why the Confusion Might Be Happening

Someone might have misheard or misread “30-piece set” as “30 tools.”

There may be a third-party (non-DeWalt) “tool box” or “kit” that claims “30 tools” but is not an official DeWalt combo — possibly a mix of tools, bits, drill attachments, etc.

Alternatively, they could be mixing up a DeWalt mechanics set (hand tools) with a cordless power toolkit.

What Does “Brushless” Mean & Why It Matters

Brushless motors in cordless tools are more efficient: they give better runtime, more power, and longer motor life compared to brushed motors.

These motors are common in DeWalt’s XR line.

Because a “30-tool brushless kit” would be very expensive and heavy, it's unlikely DeWalt would make such a thing — that's more typical of “mechanics tool sets” (hand tools) rather than cordless power-tool combos.

Possible Alternatives / What You Might Mean

If you're looking for a large DeWalt set — here are some possibilities that are kind of close to “a lot of tools,” though not exactly 30 brushless power tools:

9-Tool 20V MAX Combo Kit: A big DeWalt set (but still under 10 tools), includes things like drill, impact driver, circular saw, etc. 

Mechanics Tool Set (30 pc): The DWMT45412, a 3/8-drive hand-tool set in a tough box.
